This QAS is a game changing solution for modularizing any system and where you need a robust connection for mounting, while desiring the capability of connecting and disconnecting as needed without using hardware.The QAS Duo Set comes with two complete QAS's. This new design for 2023 comes with the new  "D"-shaped core and through hole mounting on top and and front sides, with a secondary lock hole for use with a 2mm dia cotter pin through the release button (cotter pin not included - shown for illustrative purposes only).

The QAS is designed with .025" gap between the tang plate and the QAS bod when engaged. This was implemented to provide grace when applied to applications that may not be perfectly square, whereby the tang can initialize at a very slight imperfect engagement angle, centering for alignment when engaged. Once engaged, the .020" tang plate dampener removes the extra space. Some applications may require not using the dampener, whereas others where alignment is spot on, the dampener takes up the play and provides a dampening protection of the metal-to-metal interface. As defined in the name, this dampener is die cut and designed to adhere to the tang plate.
